It was a beautiful Sunday 6-1-08 and my friends and I were heading out to the island to get shells.We
did not even make it to the bridge when the engine quit. I called for assistence and got pulled into
Caspers Marina . We determined that my 90HP Nissan engine had a barring gone bad. So my options
were to get that one fixed or buy a new one and that's what I did. About 1 1/2 hrs north at
Downeast Marine north of Beauford NC I found my baby above. Pat from Marine Boat Repair in
Jacksonville, NC took the old one off and installed the new 115HP Nissan.
