It is believed that a Funnel Cloud or small
twister developed over the houseboat
during the night for it was observed at midnight sitting in its usual dock
location.
But the next morning at 7am it was sitting on land about 500 yards upstream on
Milton Gillettes' property in which it had to travel over a dock and a barge to
land with
relatively little damage to the underneath pontoons. Amazing!
