Google Maps and Trip Planning

Trip Planning can really save time and the potential for accidents. Here is an example of how I used my resourses. First I did
what we all do and Qualcommed for directions and I got that canned message that I'm to find the reciever and give them the directions.
Well I am going one better and I wanted to share this with other drivers because I feel this is a great example of using your resources.
I then got my directions from CoPilotfor trucks using PcMiler top left. Knowing Kansas City has many bad underpasses and alot
of railroad tracks I then used the internet search engine Google and the top menu item MAPS. EXAMPLE top right.

As you can see from above there is a railroad crossing on my route so I then click on the Satellite menu button at
the top of the map and get the view top right.
Sure is one so I zoom in.

And as you can see it is a truck route and and am good to go. But I do one more thing as I get on 35 that morning heading to
the reciever I give them a call and they give me the exact same directions to their facility. GREAT It's going to be a great day!
